Billy’s Brewhouse, a new coffee shop at Garden City Community College, opened Feb. 14 next to the Broncbuster Bookstore in the Beth Tedrow Student Center.
Regular weekday hours will be 7 to 11 a.m. and 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Billy’s Brewhouse serves free Scooter’s Coffee, thanks to a collaborative partnership with Donny and Lindsay Huber of Higher Grounds, LLC.
Classic brew coffee and a flavor of the day (hot and cold options) will be complimentary to all patrons. Snacks, beverages, and food options will be available for purchase through Great Western Dining.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Friday, February 16. Enjoy free

“This project has been initiated through the leadership work of Tammy Tabor and Winsom Lamb, coordinated through GCCC’s Student Government Association and College Cabinet,” said Dr. Ryan Ruda, GCCC President. “We’re grateful for the continued partnership with Donny and Lindsay Huber and their support of this new addition to campus.
