Garden City Public Schools named Jessica Nothern as the new Chief Financial Officer for the district during the February 5 Board of Education meeting.
“Jessica brings tremendous skills and experience to the position, and I look forward to working with her,” said Dr. Mike Dominguez, Superintendent of Schools.
Nothern succeeds Colleen Drees who will be stepping down from the role in the district on March 8.
“We want to thank Colleen for her years of service to the district and wish her well on her new journey,” noted Dominguez.
Nothern is currently the Employee Services Director for the school district. She brings 16 years of experience in school finance to the position.
“I am excited about this opportunity and the privilege of serving the students and staff in this role at the district,” said Nothern.
