To wrap up the spring 2024 semester, the Garden City Community College Music Department will host three end-of-year concerts.
Each concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public inside the KCB Bank Auditorium in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building at GCCC.
Tuesday, April 30: Small Ensemble & Jazz Band Concert
Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Rock Ensemble, and Jazz Band.
Thursday, May 2: Band and Orchestra Concert “Home on the Range”
Directed by Dr. Matthew McGrory, Makenzi Johnson, and CJ Johnson.
Monday, May 6: Choir Concert “Back to the Roots”
Featuring spiritual and folk songs performed by GCCC Concert Choir and GCCC College Singers. Directed by Sean Boller. Collaborative Pianist: Maria Loving.
