Five Garden City Community College were recently named recipients of the 2023-2024 League Excellence Awards during a May 15 all employee meeting.
Ron Carlson (Associate Professor of Computer Science), Greg Greathouse (Associate Professor of HPER), Colin Lamb (Vice President for Student Services & Athletics), Janet Reed (ALC Instructor), and Brandy Unruh (Associate Dean of Technical Education and Associate Professor of Criminal Justice) were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the college community.
The League Excellence Awards, through the League for Innovation in the Community College, recognize outstanding faculty, staff, and leaders in the community college field who have made a significant difference in the lives of students and in the communities their colleges serve.
Nominations for this award are submitted by peers. Each recipient will receive a specially cast\ pewter medallion, an Excellence Award certificate, and a copy of the League Awards Program.
