Garden City Community College invites the community to kick off the holiday season at the Campus Christmas Lighting Event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, inside the Beth Tedrow Student Center Portico (near the cafeteria).
This festive evening will feature hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, free for all attendees while supplies last.
The celebration begins with a special appearance by Billy Buster, who will officially light the campus Christmas tree.
Following the tree lighting, guests are encouraged to take a stroll to the Quad to experience the twinkling lights and cheerful sights of the season.
This event is free and open to the community. Families, students, and community members of all ages are welcome to join in the holiday fun and help GCCC spread some seasonal cheer.
