The Garden City Community College Music Department will present its spring production, CLUE: The Musical, at 7 p.m. March 6–7 with a matinee at 2:30 p.m. March 8 in the KCB Bank Auditorium inside GCCC’s Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building.
Based on the classic board game by Parker Brothers and the book by Peter DePietro, CLUE: The Musical is an interactive production. The story follows the familiar murder mystery set in a mansion, but with a unique twist: the audience helps determine the outcome by selecting cards that reveal the killer, the weapon, and the room—resulting in 216 possible endings.
The production is directed by Sean Boller, Associate Professor of Vocal Music and Choir Director at GCCC, and features music by Galen Blum, Wayne Barker, and Vinnie Martucci, with lyrics by Tom Chiodo.
“CLUE: The Musical is such a fun and dynamic show,” said Boller. “Our talented students and community members are bringing these quirky characters to life, and audiences will have a chance to play detective and see if they can solve the mystery before the final curtain.”
Tickets will be available at the door: $10 for adults, $5 for children in grades K–12, and free for GCCC students and employees with a valid ID.
