
Garden City High School forensics finished its National qualifying season on April 18 at the Western Kansas National Speech and Debate Association individual events tournament at Salina South High School.
Several students qualified for the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) National Tournament, including Isa Saddler in Program Oral Interpretation, and Adaniel Steve Madilo in International Extemporaneous Speaking. They will join Angel Robledo and Kailee Uribe who qualified in Public Forum Debate. The students will compete at the NSDA tournament that will be held in Richmond, Virginia in June.
In addition to the qualifying students, the following students made it to finals at the qualifying tournament: Arianna Garcia/Alin Flores in Duo Interpretation, Arianna Garcia and Chase Russell in Humorous Interpretation, Journie Wilson in Oration, and Mara Gere in Informative.
