Red Dog Children’s Museum announces sponsorship from Home Range Clean Power

Red Dog Children’s Museum (RDCM) has announced a Bison Champion-Level Sponsorship in support of its Roaming Children’s Museum program from Home Range Clean Power for the 2026-2027 season.

This generous sponsorship will directly support RDCM’s efforts to deliver hands-on, play-based learning experiences to children and families across a nineteen-county region in southwest Kansas.

By helping offset operational costs, the partnership allows RDCM to continue offering programming at no cost to attendees—ensuring accessibility for rural communities.

“Community investment is essential to everything we do,” said Jenny Hands, Executive Director of Red Dog Children’s Museum. “Support at this level allows us to expand our reach, serve more families, and continue our roaming museum, so we can utilize remaining funds to continue building toward a permanent children’s museum in downtown Garden City.”

The Roaming Children’s Museum has become a growing regional resource, providing interactive exhibits focused on science, creativity, and exploration.

Since launching, the program has served thousands of children, schools, and community events—helping strengthen quality-of-life opportunities for families across southwest Kansas.

“Supporting organizations like Red Dog Children’s Museum is about investing in the future of this region,” said Jesse Gronner, Chief Executive Officer of Triple Oak Power, the company developing Home Range Clean Power. “The Roaming Children’s Museum brings learning opportunities directly to families across Southwest Kansas, and we’re proud to help expand access to those experiences.”

This partnership also reflects a broader commitment to community development and long-term regional vitality. Investments from private partners not only support organizations like RDCM but also contribute to a stronger local economy—helping create opportunities for workforce growth, family engagement, and community retention.

RDCM recognizes that large-scale energy and infrastructure projects can generate important questions and perspectives within the community. RDCM respects those conversations and values the continued engagement of local residents, stakeholders, and leaders as projects evolve.

“At the heart of it, we believe in collaboration,” Hands shared. “When organizations, businesses, and communities work together, we create opportunities that benefit everyone—especially the next generation.”

Red Dog Children’s Museum remains focused on its mission to expand access to hands-on learning while contributing to a vibrant, forward-looking southwest Kansas.
