Park Lane to host “Save the Farm” seminar

Park Lane Senior Living in Scott City is hosting a free educational seminar designed to help families protect their farms, plan for the future, and navigate long-term care with confidence. 

Topics will include 

  • How to pay for long-term care WITHOUT selling the family farm or going broke
  • Medicaid essentials
  • How and when to transition the farm to family members or employees
  • Tax information including estate, gift, and GST tax rates and exemptions
  • How to protect your spouse and family
  • Health information and how to choose decision makers
  • Tools that will help you achieve your succession planning goals

The workshop is scheduled for April 28 at Park Lane Nursing Home, 210 Park Lane, Scott City.

Two sessions are available at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

This workshop is presented by Randy Clinkscales, a 2007 charter member of the Life Care Planning Law Firm Association (lcplfa.org). Clinkscales is an elder law attorney in Hays.
