LiveWell Finney County, in partnership with local organizations, invites families to attend Prevention Night at the Pool from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Garden Rapids at the Big Pool.
This free community event celebrates healthy choices while providing families with an evening of fun, swimming and opportunities to connect with local organizations dedicated to supporting youth and families in Finney County.
Throughout the evening, attendees can visit booths hosted by community partners to learn about local resources, prevention programs and services available throughout the community. The event is designed to promote positive decision-making, strengthen protective factors for youth and encourage healthy, substance-free lifestyles.
“Prevention starts with strong families and connected communities,” said Beth Koksal, Director of Community Health for LiveWell Finney County. “Prevention Night at the Pool gives families a fun opportunity to spend time together while learning about the many resources available to help our youth thrive.”
Last year’s event welcomed more than 600 participants, making it one of LiveWell Finney County’s largest family-focused prevention events of the year.
The event is free and open to the public. Families of all ages are encouraged to attend.
