In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Garden City Community College Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee invites the community to an event showcasing local women-owned businesses.
Numerous products will be available for purchase, and samples will be distributed by the businesses from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7 inside the Beth Tedrow Student Center Portico.
“We would like to invite everyone to come and celebrate the many women-owned businesses
in and around the Garden City area. If you’d like to feature your business during our event, please contact me,” said Kimberly Vanley, GCCC DEIB Co-Chair. “Our goal is to celebrate each woman in our community, including the 56% of female employees and 55% of female students on campus.”
