Garden City High School senior, Jenna Wilson, participated in the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge in Manhattan on April 16.
She received a Finalist rating and was awarded $1.700 for her conceptual business plan and presentation. Her business plan, Enlightened Wellness, focuses on incorporating naturalistic healing techniques with mental health services to help people develop strong coping skills and heal trauma.
The Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge is sponsored by Network Kansas, Kansas State University Research & Extension, and Kansas State University Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship to promote entrepreneurship and small business development in Kansas. The competition is for student-created, managed, and owned ventures.
