Several music concerts are scheduled this week at Garden City Public Schools. The free concerts are open to the public.
Monday, April 29
- Victor Ornelas Elementary School will present a fourth-grade music program at 2:00 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. in the school gym, 3401 E. Spruce Street.
- Edith Scheuerman Elementary school will host a 20-year celebration of the Tigerrific Sign Choir from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the school.
- Garden City High School will present a jazz band concert at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.
Tuesday, April 30
- Bernadine Sitts Intermediate Center will present a band concert 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria, 3101 Belmont Place.
Thursday, May 2
- Abe Hubert Elementary School will present a fifth and sixth grade band concert at 6:00 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium, 1205 A Street. Jennie Barker Elementary School and Plymell Elementary School band students will be performing in the concert.
- Jennie Wilson Elementary School will present a kindergarten and 1st grade music program at 6:00 p.m. There will be a 3rd grade music program at 7:00 p.m. The concerts will be held in the gym at the school, 1401 Harding Avenue.
- Charles Stones Intermediate Center will present a band and choir concert at 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria, 401 Jennie Barker Road.
