USD 457 retirement receptions planned

Several retirement receptions are planned for USD 457 school district staff to recognize the many years of dedicated service that the employees have provided to the school district.

May 10

Georgia Matthews Elementary School reception for Maria Ortega is Friday, May 10 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the gym, 111 Johnson Street.
Gertrude Walker Elementary School reception for Le Deibert and Ann Kopper on Friday, May 10. The reception will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the gym, 805 W. Fair Street.
Jennie Wilson Elementary School party for Melinda Stewart on Friday, May 10. The party will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the gym, 1401 Harding Avenue.

May 14

Charles O. Stones Intermediate Center reception for Roger Reed and Kristi Hubbard is Tuesday, May 14 from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria, 401 Jennie Barker Road.
Victor Ornelas Elementary School reception for Karen Thornton and Debbie Holt is Tuesday, May 14 from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at the school, 3401 East Spruce Street.

May 15

Horace Good Middle School reception for Sue Corbett, Lori Hays, and Glenda Koehn is Wednesday, May 15 from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. in the Courtyard, 1412 N. Main Street.
Garden City High School reception for Richard Diller, Darlene Gillan, Glenn Hernandez, Shelby McNutt, Allison McVey, Joy Schoor, Dr. Roger Syng, and Pat VenJohn is Wednesday, May 15 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the GCHS Commons Area, 2720 Buffalo Way Blvd.

May 17

The Educational Support Center reception for Traci Shellenberger and Tracey Percival is Friday, May 17 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room, 1205 Fleming Street.

May 20

Edith Scheuerman Elementary School reception for Lorenza Guerrero is Monday, May 20 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. in the library at the school, 1901 W. Wilcox Street.

May 22

There will be a retirement reception at the Educational Support Center for Flo Blevins on Wednesday, May 22 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room, 1205 Fleming Street.
