Garden City Community College Endowment Association recently announced the naming of the “Kevin and Tammy Flowers Water Garden,” located in the GCCC Quad outside the Student and Community Services Center.
The Flowers purchased the three-year naming rights during the 2024 GCCC Endowment
Scholarship Auction. The water garden is a serene addition to the campus, offering a tranquil environment for reflection and relaxation. A plaque now proudly displayed near the water garden reads: “In honor of GCCC Supporters, Kevin & Tammy Flowers 007”.
“On behalf of Garden City Community College, I would like to extend our gratitude to Kevin and Tammy Flowers for their generosity and support,” said GCCC President Dr. Ryan Ruda. “The Kevin and Tammy Flowers Water Garden is a beautiful addition to our campus, providing a peaceful space for students, faculty, and visitors to enjoy. Their commitment to our institution
and our community is greatly appreciated.”
Lenzy Kuebler, Director of the GCCC Endowment Association, said support from donors like Keven and Tammy Flowers allows the Endowment Association to continually enhance the experience offered at GCCC.
“We are grateful to the Flowers family for their generous gift of support during our scholarship auction,” she said.
The community is invited to visit the garden and celebrate this wonderful enhancement to
campus.
