Registration is open for Garden City Community College’s annual Exploration Day on Nov. 12. The event welcomes high school juniors and seniors to campus for a hands-on look at GCCC’s academic and technical programs, student life, and the many opportunities available to help them achieve their educational goals.
Students may sign up through their school counselor or online at www.gcccks.edu/exploration_day_2025.
Seniors who register by Wednesday, October 29, will be automatically entered into a scholarship drawing.
The final deadline for all participants is November 5.
Throughout the day, students will customize their experience by choosing program sessions that match their interests. They’ll also have the chance to connect with campus clubs and organizations during a free lunch and club fair.
The schedule includes:
- Check-in: 8:30 – 9:00 AM at the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex
- Welcome Session: Introduction to GCCC
- Breakout Sessions: Four 30-minute sessions highlighting academic and technical programs
- Lunch & Club Fair
- Event Conclusion: 1:30 PM
During the lunch session, GCCC will award multiple scholarships for seniors.
