The Garden City Community College Music Department will present the Choral Christmas Vespers Concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14 in the KCB Bank Auditorium inside the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building on the GCCC campus.
Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend.
This year’s program will feature performances by the GCCC Concert Choir, GCCC College Singers, Southwest Kansas Community Orchestra, and Southwest Kansas Chorale.
“The community choir is celebrating its 50th anniversary season,” said Sean Boller, Associate Professor of Vocal Music and Choir Director at GCCC. “As the first part of our season, we will be premiering a brand-new piece commissioned for the Southwest Kansas Chorale.”
The concert promises a joyful afternoon filled with holiday music and community spirit.
