GCCC Bookbusters to host magazine release party
The GCCC Bookbusters club will host a release party for volume two of Project 1919: GCCC’s Magazine of the Arts at 5 p.m. May 1 in the Ronald J. Scott Endowment Room inside the Beth Tedrow Student Center at GCCC.

GCCC hosting three music concerts
To wrap up the spring 2024 semester, the Garden City Community College Music Department will host three end-of-year concerts.
Each concert begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public inside the KCB Bank Auditorium in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building at GCCC.

GCHS Senior wins national Shakespeare award
Pierre Madlangbayan, a senior from Garden City High School, took First Place in the People’s Choice Award and received $1,000 at the 2024 National Shakespeare competition for the second year in a row.
The People’s Choice Awards were announced during the ESU National Shakespeare Competition Finals held at Lincoln Center in New York City on April 15.
